I think an "arrow" tool is needed.
sometimes you need to save a key image with arrows pointing at a particular finding
actually I have to screencapure and use some external graphic software to do this...
it would be great that RadiAnt had such a tool, like other DICOM viewers have.
ideally you could create an arrow and optionally type text after it, if needed.
you can actually do something similar with the "pencil" tool but it's freehand so the final results look like a 3 years old kid draw on the image :-)

Sure, the annotation tool is high on our to-do list. Still, we have to wait a bit more for it...

it surely cannot take more then 3 yrs from when the first request was made to figure out how to do it

not the most polite way to support a feature request...
while I agree this seems a very basic yet missing feature of RadiAnt, I cannot forget that in these year this software mede huge progress and implemente many and even more complicate feature like MPR, PACS archive and more.
so, even if the arrow tool is missing, all the money spent buying RadiAnt licences are worth it.

Actually, it's not about figuring out how to do it, but rather about the limited resources we have and prioritizing certain features. Rest assured that we'll do our best to implement the arrow tool as soon as possible :-)

Thanks for your comment! We totally understand that some users can get frustrated when they have to wait for a long time for a feature they are craving for. We cannot please everybody, even though this is our ultimate goal.

well, all that ranting has finally come to an end...
let me say that the new arrow tool is the best arrow tool I've ever seen...
other softwares I know don't have such a degree of customization regarding arrow styles and labels
RadiAnt's arrow tool has been long awaited but it was worth it.

I've decided to give Radiant another try since it now has the oblique MPR feature.
I was looking for the arrow tool but don't see it in 5.5.1.23267. Is it in a beta release?

go to "measurements and tools" menu (13th icon from your left) and select "arrow" from the dropdown menu
