"copy & paste" image from viewport to clipboard issue

I've noticed that when you copy & paste an image from a viewport to another application, it pastes not just the DICOM image but even the "black background" of the viewport around the image.

to reproduce it load an image in RadiAnt and split the window in different viewport configurations (es. 1x1, 2x1, 3x3, etc. etc.) and do "Ctrl+C & Ctrl+V" in each setting.

you will notice that the pasted images will look different, some of them will have more "black background" than other.

I think that the "copy & paste" should be limited to the portion occupied by the DICOM image inside the viewport, not the entire viewport as it does actually.

it's kinda annoying to have to trim the unnecessary part of the pasted image each time.
it this something you are able to fix?

Ctrl + C is meant to copy the contents of the viewport as the user sees it. Cropping the background would result in removing partially some annotations. You can use the export feature if you need an image with no background. Nevertheless, we may add an option to copy backgroundless images to Clipboard in the future.

I see "space" for 3 screencapture options:
1- current viewport with border (the actual one)
2- current viewport borderlss
3- all visible viewports

Seems reasonable.
