hello RADIANT TEAM,

Really amazing work. You're on your way to make the best DICOM viewer for windows.

My question is: Do you plan to add a patients database (with comments)? This would be one of the greatest features of RADIANT.

Thanks for all your work.

Hi,

Thanks for your kind words!
Sure, we plan to add the local archive (with comments :-)
It's gonna take some time, though. Not this year, that's for sure.

Greetings,
Maciej

Hello. Simple local archive of retrieved series is very very very necessary. Please add it as soon as possible.

Thank you very much!!!

Nothing to announce yet as far as the local archive is concerned... We have to ask for a bit more patience :-)

Guys,

I think you terribly underestimate how much a local archive/library is such a critically missing feature. Radiant would become the de facto dicom viewer for PC-based radiologists/residents, as such right now it isnt really that useful. Most health care systems already employ remote access for occasional image viewing and advanced workstation capabilities aren't necessary for the vast majority of potential users since they already have access to them.

Look at horos/osirix, widely used in the radiology world, 100% of the radiologist I know that use it, employ the library for resident/case review & research and do not take advantage of higher level features, because that has already been performed at the diagnostic level. As a business model if you plan on expanding to government approved diagnostics in the future this makes sense, since the people that will pay for this are the generations of attendings/residents who will pass case-sets down and use it for presentations. A familiar face gets dollars while a great tool targeted for scientists that nobody's heard of will make very little.

You have a great product with excellent interface, a local library should be the number one priority. Id be happy to help with features that radiologists will use.
Thanks

JJ,

Thank you for your positive feedback and suggestions. I couldn't agree more about the importance of a local library in RadiAnt. This feature has been long overdue. It is now our top priority to bring this functionality to RadiAnt as soon as possible. Expect something to happen in the coming months.

Best regards,
Maciej

Hi! We can't wait the moment a local study archive is ready, too :-) No specific date is set at this moment. Still some work needs to be done.
