Hi, I am just wondering if there is any way of using the software to convert/link slices of 2D angiograms into a 3D volume dcm image?

Thanks

That is not possible with any software. The data needed to reconstruct a 3d volume image is not contained in 2d images. Another thing would be if you had a rotation series, but still the reconstruction should run at the modality directly.

Exactly. You can't produce 3D data from standard 2D angiograms. It could theoretically be possible with the rotational data. However, it should be done on the angiography system.

Hi everyone,
The 3mensio vascular software does give you this ability, so from programming point of view is feasible.

So if I obtain a.p. oblique and lateral skull plain film, I can reconstruct a bone CT from the images Konstantinos? Sometimes I wonder how it is possible that rads understand so little of the technology they use.
