Good day.
Going to buy a notebook for work with RadiAnt.
Which CPU is better?
Pentium 2020m (2 cores with 2.4 GHz) or i3-3110M (2 cores with 2.4 GHz + 2 threads by Hyper-threading)
Will I recive significant boost using Hyper-threading in RadiAnt?
Or it is better to use Pentium and buy a SSD on the difference in price?

Hello,

With the i3 cpu you will get faster image processing in RadiAnt (zooming, panning, windowing). If you open small images (MR, CT) the difference will be most probably negligible. But if you open large CR or MG files, I would go for core i3.
Like Tommy said, 64bit OS is also way to go, 64 bit RadiAnt version is faster and can utilize more than 2GB memory (handy when working with large CT/MR/PT series).
SSD will significantly speed up opening DICOM files directly from your drive, also I personally cannot imagine using PC without a system installed on a SSD, the difference between conventional hard drive and SSD is striking.

Greetings,
Maciej
